Despite not being quite ready for competition yet, I thought you guys might like to take a little look at Ueno’s ?30 million D1-GP BMW project. Last month I dropped by the SUI•VAX workshop to take a few shots of the 3-series, which as you can see looked very much completed, aesthetically speaking. The project was based on a 320i, which was completely stripped down and build from the ground up. The body is custom made by the guys at T&E and features some pretty mean widened fenders, aggressive front and rear bumpers, plenty of dry carbon and cool paint from Maziora.

While this engine swap on a 1995 BMW M3 E36 is in no way as snazzy as the ’71 Toyota Celica with the Honda S2000 powertain that we showed you previously today (click here), it certainly sounds promising. Let me note however that personally, I don’t think I’d ever have the heart to perform an engine swap in any BMW M3. Still, if a BMW M3 with a GM supercharged LS6 V8 engine makes you wet, “New Age Hotrods” offers a complete kit for $6,140. That is if you wanna mess around cause the NY based company also offers to do the dirty work for you for $12,670

Euro tuning and styling has always broken the mold from traditional builds. The curves and stock body of any Euro lends itself to a level of customization that you just can’t obtain with other chassis. We ran across this extremely clean E46 widebody sedan. Though we know it’s not everybody’s cup of tea, you can’t forsake the extreme styling and clean body work that was done to the lines of the car. Not to mention the photography is magnificent.

Craig had the best time in each car which consisted of: 13.546 @ 105 in the 335 12.855 @ 111 in the M3 and a 13.666 @ 104 mph in Gold Wheels. I am pretty sure Ashley was the only girl driving out there and her very first run ever down a drag strip in her 335 was a 13.802 @ 101.13 We had an awesome time at the event and will definitely be back up there soon! One of our staff members, Mike Burroughs, has brought his once-thought-dead E28 back to life.
Mike bought this E28 in November of 2007- and went quite out of the way to do so. From Nashville, TN, Mike set out to South Carolina to trade his ‘89 325i for the 535i you see before you.
… and that’s where the “normal” mods stopped. Mike soon followed up his drop with a complete re-design of the car.

I’ve seen 4 door E30 M3, even a convertible E30 M3s but this is def the 1st E30 M3 touring I’ve seen.
All the fender work are metal. The engine is the M30 3.5, modified by Hartge to H35 specs! 18? Breyton wheels, AP Racing 4-pot calipers in the front and E30 M3 rear brakes in the rear. KW Coilovers, Hartge anti-rollbars and front strut brace. And the list goes on. Very cool.

Listen, I was first a doubter before a believer. I came across HPF through a magazine. So I called to find out what all the hoopla was about. David answered. From this point on a match was made and I’m not talking about the one in your mind now. Rather a match between power and aerodynamics. We were able to put the best of two worlds together.

On November th the Swedish Loaded BMW M3 CSL driven by European touring car ace Richard Goransson did a full lap of the Nordschleife in 7minutes 22.9 seconds.
This achievement makes the Loaded CSL the fastest road legal BMW in the world. The lap is more than 5 seconds faster than the production car record time of 7.28 as set by the Pagani Zonda F Clubsport last month and 9 seconds faster than the Carrera GT.
The Loaded project is a private project and uses a supercharged BMW M3 CSL E46 that produces around 600hp and has factory support from K&W. The final set up of the car was done by the BMW «Guru» Tom Schirmer in Kelberg, Germany.
